Christian Coaching and Mentoring
Is Christian coaching the same as therapy or counseling?
No, it is not. Therapy includes the education, degree, and license to diagnose, assess, and intervene to address past trauma, relational issues etc. Whereas Christian coaching is not clinical care. While I have the credentials and ability to also be a therapist/counselor, if you choose coaching and mentoring, we will stay future-focused and help you apply biblical wisdom, see a clearer picture, and take purposeful action that matches your values in important areas of your life such as calling, leadership, personal growth, and impacting relationships.

If a Christian wants to see me for Coaching/Mentoring, and NOT FOR THERAPY, I am pleased to announce that I can ethically work with Christian Believers across the globe in this specific, non therapy capacity. Please ask if you have any questions or concerns about this.
Wendy also has her Religious Studies BA from the secular University of Texas and is well versed in the major world religions, and despite her studies of other religions, she has only more fully codified her belief in God and Jesus Christ as his Divine son whom God sent for he so loved the world and wanted all of his creation to know him by sending himself and by gifting his people the Holy Spirit. Jesus is not just a good teacher or prophet. He claimed to be God, which only leaves 2 options for everyone else to believe: that either A) he was a crazy liar, or B) he is the sovereign authoritative Lord of all, the one who has the ultimate wisdom for our lives through the example he lived every day.
Since I believe the second, then I also trust that God is the giver of life, our protector, the true moral compass, the one who gives us transcendent peace in this painful and broken world. I also believe that his ways are higher than our ways, and if we seek his wisdom and kingdom first, we will find the answers. If we knock, he will answer the door. If we draw near to him, he will draw near to us. His word will be a lamp unto our feet and a light unto our path. If this is also your worldview, I hope I can be a resource to walk with you hand in hand to help guide you, mentor you, and coach you to also see with this biblical lens in a season where you may need clarity.
